Founder of Antiquish Home Decor | Interior Stylist | Vintage Treasure Hunter

Hi, I’m Xian—curator of all things charming, layered, and just the right amount of dramatic. I’m the stylist and soul behind Antiquish Home Decor, a business that’s as much about history and storytelling as it is about sourcing beautiful things.

I was born and raised right here in the Hampton Roads area and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Norfolk State University. My early days were spent painting, collecting, rearranging every room in the house, and obsessing over homes that felt lived in, loved on, and just a little bit grand.

After college, I started working as a design consultant at Bassett Home Furnishings. I completed their HGTV Home Design Studio training and became a certified interior design consultant—working with clients to create custom furniture layouts, mood boards, and fully designed rooms that felt personal, functional, and timeless.

But I’ve always had a thing for the old stuff. Not just antiques, but the stories behind them. The craftsmanship. The way they add soul to a space. So I followed that instinct and built Antiquish Home Decor from the ground up.

Over the last five years, I’ve:

  • Owned and operated my own brick-and-mortar vintage shop

  • Managed multiple antique mall booths

  • Participated in vintage markets and pop-ups across the region

  • Sourced hundreds of pieces through estate sales, auctions, and deep-dive treasure hunts

  • And spent more hours than I can count researching periods, provenance, and how trends shape what we love in our homes today

I have my finger on the pulse of the vintage and antique market, not just because I sell pieces—but because I study them. I track trends, watch how design cycles return, and help my customers blend old with new in ways that feel effortless, not outdated.

When I’m not styling a shoot, hauling furniture, or swooning over Staffordshire pups, you can find me gardening, thrifting with my daughter, rearranging rooms just for fun, or drinking coffee while researching 18th-century mirror styles for no reason other than joy.

Antiquish is more than a shop—it’s a curated expression of what I believe home should be: layered, warm, storied, and just a little bit extra.
